August/Sept Pictures

It's been a while since I've posted pics, so here it goes....

Kids started school mid-August.  Stephen and his friend Ty Menard are in Leadership this year.  Here they are giving incoming 6th graders (including Chris) a tour of the school.

Got to help cousin Owen get settled at UC Berkeley!  So fun to see the campus and awesome to have a relative in CA (not that we see him......).  We'll be at the Cal/Oregon Football game coming up Oct 21, hopefully we'll see Owen then.

We got to go to Monterey for a long weekend on Labor Day.  The beach is my favorite!

Boys are making 4/5th of a cookie recipe for Math Class.

Chris got to go to Seattle with some of his baseball buddies to watch the Mariner's play.  This crew is planning to visit a different stadium every year,  we'll see how that goes!

Chris had a great season of baseball.  Becoming quite the pitcher, and got his first over the fence home run this year.

They won the last tournament of the season!

Pokemon Go anyone???  I played for approx 4 days.  It started to suck up too much of my time, so I left it to the kids.

Stephen and I spent a nice day in Santa Cruz while Chris/Steve were at a baseball tournament.

This was quite a "cake".  2 9x11 pans of brownies glued together with buttercream frosting.  I don't think I'll do this one again.... very dense/heavy/sugary.  It was good once tho!

Both boys were in a basketball tournament in Reno at the end of May.  This is them goofing around in the hotel.  They won big combs in the hotel arcade.

One of Chris' baseball teams went to Cooperstown NY to play in a 7-day tournament.  Quite the event- Chris stayed at Cooperstown All Star Village overnight with his team all week.  Had an incredible time with his friends, and his coaches were great.

Luckiest kids in the planet just got a pool hoop.  Had to get them something for their amazing grades and to celebrate Stephen's successful 1st year of middle school and Chris' graduation from Elementary school.
