Thanksgiving Morning

Flag football game before spending a great day with the Hiltebrand/Bugbee family.  The kids are hard to see in this pic, but they are there.  I was surprised by how many showed up to play!

1st Philanthropy Event

I'm on the board for a new charity league - Boys Team Charity- Alamo/Danville League.  I took the boys and two of their friends to Shelter Inc, a local food shelter that also provides clothing and sets the homeless up with low income housing as best as they can.  Mixed reviews from the boys (Stephen, Chris, Chase and Tanner) - when this picture was taken, they didn't know what to expect.

Chris won his 1st Playoff Game!!!

Despite 2 touchdowns and a 90 yard run called back (penalties) the Jr. Pee Wee Tbirds are victorious, 6-0.  Seriously tough defense.  Offense was a bit offside and down field :-).  The mom's made posters for their boys to rally them to the championship game.

Turkey Trot

Chris ran 4 miles in the Turkey Trot at school Friday!

Basket Brigade

At school, Stephen and I helped put together some food baskets for the less fortune today.  All week the PTA collected food donations and each basket includes a homemade pumpkin bread. Tomorrow I help drive them to some shelters.

Starting a new blog for the kids

So... I enjoyed looking at the blog posts I did for the kids when they were younger (http://boyadventures.blogspot.com/).  I moved to posting things on Facebook in 2010-2011, but now I'm thinking I like the blog better.  I have more control over who sees it, and it's like a diary of the kids growing up.  For some reason, I don't have edit control over that blog anymore, so I'm starting a new one.  Here it is, and here are my first pictures

11/2015.  Tbirds football.  Stephen is 12, #74, and plays on the PeeWee squad.  Chris is 10, #64,  and plays for Jr Pee Wee.
